mmm, near-dated goldfish...

I'm up in NJ for Easter, visiting the Rents. Needing an excuse to get out of the house, I decided to trek up the Pepperidge Farm thrift store that's 15 minutes or so away from them. It's in a surprisingly nice strip mall, next to a Starbucks.

Total spent - $18.12 for 5 loaves of bread, 3 packs of goldfish/deli flats, 2 packs of cookies, and a dozen individual packs of Goldfish. Half of the stuff was for the parents, the rest for me. I would have bought more, but I don't have much room in my freezer at home... and didn't really need a box of, say, 18 blueberry muffins....

I found the problem with the computer.. there's a hardware bug

Last week, I bought a circa 2001 Apple G4 Cube at a surplus computer auction at Penn State University. I paid $75, which is a fair price. I've always thought they were nifty. It didn't have an airport card, but I found one in a junked TiBook at work. I went to install it today and discovered that my mac came with a little friend... a dead bug of some sort.
